quotes dont be so narrow minded, not everyone only rides downhill, i love my 30/42 x 11-36t 10speed on my xc bike, and having 11-36 on my big bike means i can actually ride to the woods without having to walk half of it. yes on a dh racebike it might give some performance gains but in the real world for real riders it's just a gimmick so you can look/feel pro.... good like with that.

quotes unfortunatly lads it wont. it would have worked if you were trying to have a 9sp mech shift on 8sp cassette but shimano 10sp runs a different cable pull ratio to 9sp. Basically the 10sp shifter pulls more cable per shift than 9sp which means the 10sp rear mech has a longer leverage arm than 9sp, making 9/10sp incompatible in any way. (all the different combos i have tried have failed anyway, and i dont think theres any combos i've missed) Bit of a pain but thats also one of the reasons it feels so much better in use than the old 9sp stuff.

quotes kyle straight can hardly be described as "new" competition, been around as a pro rider for a lot longer than danny hart...

quotes so true gavlaa, i just started up a new spot few months back and although i love it when i turn up and see people enjoying what i've spent hours and hours building, because at the end of the day thats why i built it... but part of me just knows that there'll be damage to turns (why on earth do kids think berms are there to skid through? I BUILT THE BERM SO YOU DONT HAVE TO BRAKE MUPPET! sorry, bit of a sore spot...) and landings that they wont fix before they leave and when they do they'll likely leave all their plastc bottles and crisp packets etc lying around on the floor so i get a gobfull from the dog walkers (who i generally have a reasnoble relationship with) next time i'm up there probably fixing everything they've cased. all for them riding my trails, aslong as they pick up a spade and help maintain them.

quotes etnies shoes are by far the most comfortable shoes i own, closely followed by globes, but i cant ride in etnies as they're nowhere near stiff enough, just end up with my feet really hurting after a hour or so. If they can come up with a nice tread pattern that actually grips when walking back to the top (not all of us have uplifts or chairlifts) possibly some sticky rubber and stiffen the sole and lower half of the shoe and they'll be onto a winner.

quotes I do want the boxset even though i already have all 3 films, i'd have prefered it if it was a 5 disc set including follow me and their new project aswell (cant remember what its called, this might be it) but the collectives bonus features are always worth it so that 4th disc should be good. Still gutted follow me isnt included though.

quotes Congratulations Teamdoa, you'v just managed to make every english bloke seem like a sexist pig. iInstead of mocking women who ride maybe you should embrace/encourage it. dick. also em-j i like you plan, but ferrets are possibly a little kind for this colossal bellend. Dont hate on roadies, at least their riding a bike, i ride everything, see me out on my road bike you'd have no idea i ride dh aswell, see me on my dh bike i'll smoke you cz i got the power in my legs from riding on the road. basically i'm bored at work and your clearly a twat.

quotes How has gregg watts still not got a new bike sponser? Looks like he's still running that old gary fisher roscoe! surely someone would snap him up, gary fisher dont even exsist as a brand anymore (not on their own anyway, just as a segment of trek doing pretty much only 29ers or weird stuff from what i know) weird.

quotes slimes a terrible idea in anything apart from a wheelbarrow/pushchair tyre. i mean why on earth would you want to add weight that then f**ks with the centrefugal forces in your wheel (especially when your in the air!) also if you split a tyre you get covered in sh*t and any mechanic who you take your bike to will instantly think your a dick as soon as you mention slime, even more of a dick if you dont tell him it's in there and he gets covered in it.
